Xavier is currently enrolled in the University of California – Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He is originally from Las Vegas/Henderson, but went to undergrad for a Bachelors in Agricultural science at Oklahoma State University for their pre-vet/ animal science program. Xavier chose to go to UC Davis for vet school because it’s one of the best vet schools in the world and close to his family in San Francisco.
Xavier doesn’t have any pets of his own currently, but he grew up with pets, mainly cats and also one adorable German shepherd named Layla. Xavier has known that he wanted to be a veterinarian since he was in kindergarten, and would always ask his mom to pet any dog that they saw.
Xavier learned about Craig Road Animal Hospital during his time working in a Las Vegas clinic. When he saw an email from another student representative about the externship program and student rep position, he knew it would be a perfect fit.
Outside of his studies, Xavier likes to play basketball, play the piano and flute, go hiking, and hang out and play video games online with friends.
