If your pet is not current on the required vaccinations or fecal testing, the necessary services may be completed for an additional charge. Please discuss your pet’s records with our team when making the reservation.
Pre-Boarding Examination Requirements
To help us provide the safest and most appropriate care, some pets may need to be examined by one of our veterinarians when they arrive for boarding.
A pre-boarding examination is required if:
- Your pet has not been examined at Aliante Animal Hospital within the last six months.
- Your pet is 10 years of age or older.
- Your pet currently takes prescription medication.
- Your pet requires injections during their stay.
- You have a new or specific concern about your pet’s health.
If your pet is due for a routine service, such as vaccinations, a nail trim, or an anal gland expression, an examination may not be necessary as long as your pet has been examined by our veterinary team within the last three months.
Please let our team know about all medications, injections, requested services, and health concerns when making your boarding reservation. Depending on your pet’s needs, examination and treatment fees may apply.
